La Belugue Retreats invites you for a culinary and wandering retreat in Provence’s charming region of Luberon. It will be a week full of indulging in sumptuous French cuisine & learning how create it in your own kitchen. We will wander through the ancient villages of Provence & explore the local farms & culinary secrets known by only those who live here. Let us take you there!
What you can look forward to….
Visits to the local farmers to harvest the bounty the spring brings to Provence. Cooking classes with an award-winning chef, incorporating the local harvest you bring home from the farm. Classes will be 1/2 day sessions and held in the AM or PM depending on excursion planned for the day. Experiencing “the ultimate” of fine dining in a Michelin Star Restaurant. Roaming through the local markets of Le Luberon with your traditional French shopping bag ready to be filled with goodies. Wandering through the old Provencal villages with your camera, & capturing that quintessential shot of a tiny passageway with flowers spilling out of the windows. Walking through the vineyards with a glass of rose in hand while learning the process of cultivating grapes, wine making & of course a wine tasting! Personal time for your own exploration to hike the beautiful trails in the area with views of the Alps or meditate in our lovely garden. Road trip (only 30min) to Aix en Provence/Marseille for the day
What is included…
6 nights accommodation in a 19th century village farmhouse with the best of both worlds, village access from the front and large private garden overlooking the vine draped hills of Provence in the back.
4 days of 1/2 day cooking classes in one of our 2 kitchens.
All village & farm tours & transport. If you would like to roam on your own we have a private driver that can escort you at your own expense. (2 week prior notice requested)
1 extravagant experience at a Michelin Star Restaurant-meal included.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with wine every day except for arrival and departure days in which dinner and breakfast will be provided respectively.
*Private meals/snacks/extra libations not included.
Feel free to explore the culinary delights of Provence outside of our set schedule. We can provide a driver to take you there at your own expense.
Extra Libations= We have a great Cave full of delicious wines you can help yourself to while on the property and you can pay as you drink!
Transportation to and from Marseille Airport or Aix en Provence TGV- please let us know your travel arrangements
